Barefoot Studio

The Barefoot Studio is the most-flexible room at Dark Horse Recording. No equipment in this space is bolted to the ground, making its endless configuration options perfect for flexibility in recording projects, overdubs, editing, and mixing.

Configuration & Access

Clients have access to the Barefoot Studio’s high-end outboard gear or can integrate some or all of their own.

This studio can be joined as an extension to The Lodge in a tracking environment. The Lodge’s piano room may also be accessed by the Barefoot Studio for recording the Yamaha C-7 grand.

Vocals & Mixing

The Mavericks, Michael W. Smith, Wynonna Judd, Jon Anderson (of Yes), and Anne Wilson (of Heart) are just a few of the platinum artists that have cut their vocals in this very room.

Not only is The Barefoot Studio perfect for vocals and overdubs, but it has remained a favorite mix room for many engineers and producers.
